Emma van der Kley

After successfully completing a Bachelor of Arts Majoring in Psychology and Political Science and a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Canterbury in 2013, Emma joined the Kannangara Thomson team in April 2014.  In October 2014 Emma was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.

Emma works closely with Brent Selwyn, partner of the firm and Tania Cunningham, a Registered Legal executive of the firm and their team prides itself on making the legal process understandable and as stress free as possible for their clients.  Emma specialises in conveyancing and commercial law, as well as trust formation and administration, Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney and has a particular interest in subdivision work, having sound experience in advising both Developers and purchasers.

Interests:

Outside the office, Emma enjoys spending time with her family and friends, her husband and young son. Emma is part of the Christchurch Neo natal Parent Information group, providing assistance to make the processes in place for parents with children in the Neonatal as helpful as possible.
